Fresno County Public Library

Located in the heart of California’s San Joaquin Valley, the Fresno County Public Library (FCPL) provides collections and services through its Central Resource Library and 34 branches. The library serves Fresno (population: 509,000), which is the fifth largest city in California, along with many small, and often rural, communities. The FCPL is part of the San Joaquin Valley Library System, a cooperative network of 10 public library jurisdictions in the counties of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Tulare.
